4. What are Nigerian Dwarf Goats?
Nigerian Dwarf Goats are a miniature dairy breed known for their friendly nature, manageable size, and high-quality milk. They’re ideal for smallholdings, family farms, and anyone looking for a unique, personable pet or productive dairy goat.
5. Are you the only breeder of Nigerian Dwarf Goats in the UK?
Yes, we currently have the only Nigerian Dwarf goat in the UK. Nigerian Dwarf goats are a modern American breed developed in the 1980s. While the UK also has goats descended from the original West African Dwarf goats, they were never bred to a standard like in America. In the US, breeders have spent over 40 years developing the Nigerian Dwarf into a small, high-quality milking goat—nothing in the UK comes close.
6. Can you help me import goats or embryos?
We offer consultation services for those interested in importing Nigerian Dwarf goats or genetics. We’re happy to share our experience and help you navigate the process.
